Subject:
THREELAC
Thanks
very much for this information. I myself have done the diet
on and off for years but it’s very difficult to stick
to and, because my condition got so chronic before I knew what
it was, the diet does work but it doesn’t ever actually
cure the condition completely, leaving one consigned to a very
boring life food wise and constant problems with e.g. eating
out at restaurants. I have tried the diet combined with Threelac
for about a month or so, taking 5-6 sachets a day and my conclusion
is that it makes no noticeable difference, just like other
probiotics. The claim for Threelac is that, unlike other probiotics
it actually “eats” the candida, rather than just
repopulating with good bacteria.
I
would very much like to hear from other people who have tried
it, or chat online with other candida sufferers, so if you
could put my message on the noticeboard that would be great.
Thanks
again,

Hi,
I'm on threelac right now, and dubious about its efficacy when taken alone.
Ii'm waiting to finish my first box, then I'm moving to the caproyl/
psyllium/ bentonite protocol -- or at least I plan to. it's been a few
months since your post; do you have any opinions on
threelac now, and are you trying a different approach?

Subject: Candida Help!
I am very sorry to hear of the troubles that some
people are having trying to get rid of their candida overgrowth!
It sounds like some are trying to get rid of it solely through a
change in diet. From my experience and research that is nearly impossible.
Diet is important, but something stronger is needed. Some sort of
antifungal drug is effective, but citrus seed extract (I found grape
fruit seed extract at my local health food store) is safer and is
also highly effective against yeasts. Secondly, the probiotics that
have been over-run in your body need to be replenished as well and
can even help crowd out the yeast. Find a source of L.acidophilus
that has a high bacteria count (most tablets in the stores are on
the low side). Some supplements do a better of delivering the bateria
through the harsh environment of the stomach to the intestine, so
use that as a criteria in making your selection. Also, I have found
L. Sporogenes and B. laterosporus to be substantially more effective
in treating Candida than using the normal probiotic coctails alone.
These spore based products destroy yeasts and feed on wastes in the
intestines while supporting acidophilus and the other beneficial
bateria. Read Healing with Whole Foods by Paul Pitchford for more
insights in treating Candida. He stresses diet, but also gave us
these helpful insights.
Candida overgrowth is possible to recover from, and can be done
so inside of 2 months using these aids and proper diet. E-Mail: Rex
